Create Your Own DeltaHawk Virtual Engine Installation
Using CAD Models of the Upright and Inverted Engines you can install a virtual engine in your virtual airframe to answer the burning question of, “will it fit?” Schematic diagrams of
Cooling, Lubrication and Fuel systems indicate what might be used in a typical installation. Dimensioned drawings showing engine mount locations and engine center of gravity are provided for the drafting board set
as well. A chart is posted showing equipment and components that might be suitable for a typical DeltaHawk engine installation. The information is posted on an FTP site that permits downloading large electronic files.
CAD Models
Models of the basic V-4 engine, inverted exhaust system and upright exhaust system are posted on the FTP site. Users will need to download the base engine and the appropriate exhaust system to create a CAD
assembly of the complete engine they want to use. The CAD files are available in both STEP or IGES formats.
